Wichita Pride

The Wichita Pride Unity March will start at City Hall (455 N Main, Wichita, KS 67202) and end at Riverside Park (720 Nims, Wichita, KS 67203) with a family picnic! The March Volunteer shifts will start at City Hall and you will help amp up the crowd by sharing your enthusiasm! Feel free to bring your signs, flags, voices, family, friends or anything that shows that our community is stronger when we stand united. Following the march, feel free to stick around for a community picnic. The picnic is a chance to relax, share a meal, meet new people, and continue celebrating the community we’ve built together.

At this volunteer shift you could be helping to keep the snack table stocked, guiding donors to the correct locations, handing out American Red Cross swag or assisting at the photo booth.

On Saturday, October 24th, Wichita Pride is hosting an adult kickball tournament and we need umpires! The tournament will start at 10 am and will run into the afternoon until a team is deemed Champion. The shift starts at 9:15 am to give you plenty of time to orient yourself with the fields and rules. As an umpire, having a general knowledge of kickball/softball/baseball rules will help. Anyone interested in being an umpire is encouraged to attend (or play if you'd like!) a Q-Force kickball game ahead of time to brush up on the rules. The tournament will be following the City of Wichita's Adult Kickball Rulebook: https://www.wichita.gov/DocumentCenter/View/37608/Adult-Kickball---Rulebook-Updated-542026?bidId=
